The Observation Tower

The Observation Tower was built in the first half of the 19th century as a chimney of the former sugar mill of the Paskevich Princes. Currently the Tower is a park attraction. The Observation Tower is 42 meters high. It is equipped with a spiral staircase helping to get to the observation desk on top of it. It is a popular site among the citizens of Gomel and the city visitors.

Since 2007 the Observation Tower was under the reconstruction, in February 2016 it has been opened for public.
